Spice is giving back to her fans to promote her new video.
Spice mad some fans very happy as she gifted $400,000 in total while promoting her new single “02.20.2020 Freestyle.”
On Thursday the Dancehall superstar took to Instagram to announce that the first 20 fans to catch her 02.20.2020 lyrics and upload would be gifted $20,000.
Fans quickly obliged to the task, with dozens of entries within hours, some of which can now be heard on her Instagram.
The ingenious marketing strategy seems to be paying off quite well as as the track is already the #2 trending on Youtube. In just a few short hours, the track has racked up over 337,000 views and 34,000 likes on the platform.
Fans have since reacted positively to the deejay’s promotional tactic, with the majority posting positive comments.
“I have to react to this🔥🔥🔥🔥,” one fan declared, while another said, “That’s so creative.”
However, the deejay did pick up a few negative comments, with one fans saying; “Not bringing down spice but i’m yet to hear somthing diff her song dem just sounding the same to me…..mi say to meee.”
The track is Spice’s second music video in just a week. Last week she turned heads with her new single “Rolling,” which featured some very creative 1950’s imagery and themes.
Spice is enjoying a fruitful start to the year, Embarking on numerous tours. The deejay has already been confirmed as one of the main acts for Reggae Sumfest in July 2020.
