Spice Gets Closer To Collaboration With Nicki Minaj

The highly anticipated collaboration with Spice and Nicki Minaj is closer than we think, sources say.

According to sources close to the Trinidadian Rapper, Nicki is warming up to the idea of going on a track with the ‘Needle Eye’ deejay.

“Nicki a turned into a major fan of Spice and modern Dancehall in the last few months with all her [Spice] new singles on her phone,” sources said. “She be singing Spice tracks while travelling and shooting her new music videos so i see a collab happening very soon.”

On Thursday the ‘No Frauds’ rapper also used lyrics from the ‘Queen of Stage’ during an Instagram post. “Sit down pon it, mi know fi sit down pon it,” Nicki wrote.

Earlier this year the Nicki Minaj gave Spice high praises after finding the remix for her smash hit single with Soca artist Bunji Garlin online.

“Indicator Soca Remix – My new obsession,” She wrote. “Yikes. Haven’t felt like this about a woman in dancehall since Lady Saw. Spice (sound like a female vybz Kartel) idk how I didn’t know about u b4 but S/O to my trini brotha Bunji Garlin for doing this soca remix cuz now I’m in love. Y’all both MURDERED this.
