The ‘Queen of Stage’ Spice is the lone female Dancehall artiste nominated for an award at this year’s Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards.
The ‘Needle Eye’ deejay is nominated in the category for “Best Reggae Act” alongside last year’s winner Popcaan, Alkaline, Kranium and Protoje.

Spice took to social media on Wednesday to share the news with her fans while asking them to vote. “I’m the only female that has been nominated for this MOBO Awards I know I’m among some of your favorite male but help me to create history,” She wrote. “Go to “voting.mobo.com” or click the link in my bio and Vote Vote Vote Vote #SPICE for your best reggae act 2016 Mobo Awards Thank you for the nomination.”
