Spice Explains Her Controversial Statement About Jamaica On LHHATL

Spice has found herself once again having to explain herself as snippets continue to surfaced from Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.

Earlier this week the newly crowned ‘Queen of Dancehall’ was trolled for allegedly ‘twanging’ on the popular VH1 series.

Shortly after addressing that issue another video surfaced online and Spice whose real name is Grace Hamilton raised a few eyebrows once again when said she was moving to Atlanta because she outgrew Jamaica, “You know i do my music… but i feel like i kinda outgrew my country (Jamaica) so i’m thinking to move to Atlanta,” she said.

The comment angered several Dancehall supporters who claims Spice has sold out her home country that has been supporting her throughout her career.

In addressing the issue, Spice highlighted her many accomplishments in the music industry and said that she has done everything locally.

“I did outgrow Jamaica or let me bring it down to your level. I can’t get any bigger than I am in Jamaica,” she said in reply to one of the comments on her Instagram account. “Ok, maybe you’ll understand this. Mi DUN big a Jamaica aredy so mi ago try see if mi can get big a merica too. Have a Spicey Day.”
