A soup vendor was shot and killed by unknown assailants along Main Street in Lucea, Hanover on Saturday night.
According to reports, 44-year-old Desmond Ferguson, alias ‘Jackpot’, of Epping district in the parish was shot dead while at his soup establishment at in the Hanover Capital.
Ferguson was reportedly at his stall at approximately 11:50 pm when he was pounced upon by gunmen traveling in a motorcar. He was reportedly shot several times and died on the spot.
