Skatta Burrell came under fire recently after showing support for controversial Dancehall artist Ishawna and allegedly writing her raunchy single “Equal Rights”.

The popular Downsound Records producer/songwriter was blasted when he commented on an Interview with Veteran singer Lady G speaking on the current state of Dancehall and female artists in the business.

The”Nuff Respect” hit maker shared that artists should tone down on her sexual lyrics seemingly referring to Ishawna’s “Equal Rights” track, however Skatta disagreed saying “Everyone can’t do the same thing. To each his or her own.”

Skatta was then dragged one social media by many Dancehall fans, “Skettel Burrell move you bumbocl****t renta dread,” one user wrote. “Wonder what was he thinking when he [wrote] equal rights for Ishawna smh.,” another comment.

“A true Skatta love hear bout Bumpa to forehead… and such out like Pepsi,” another user added.
