Six persons have been confirmed dead while another remains missing following a motor vehicle accident along the Bog Walk Gorge in St Cathrine.
The six victims have been identified as Oneil Robinson, Stephen Ricketts, Benjamin Ellis, Shavanie Ricketts, Sujay Ricketts and Chantel Morris, all of Commodore District, Linstead in St. Catherine.
One person was reportedly rescued from the accident and is now in hospital.
According to reports, the victims were traveling in a Suzuki Grand Vitara motor vechile when the driver reportedly lost control and ran off into the Bog Walk Gorge.
Police say the search continues for the eighth person who was involved in the accident.
