Shenseea has opened up about her growth in the music industry and her plans for the future.

She recently gave fans a detailed look into her journey during an interview with Ras Kwame at Capital XTRA.

During the interview, Shenseea shared details on her upcoming album, possible future collaborators, and how she balances her private life.

Shenseea opens the interview by talking about the tremendous support she has received from her fans. She also elaborated on her personal sacrifices to ensure they all feel connected. Making references to her appeal to the LGBTQIA community.

The entertainer documented her humble beginnings in the industry, starting as a promo girl for Romeich Entertainment. She spoke on growth in the industry since her breakout hit “Lodi,” and subsequent international success.

Shenseea revealed some of the new opportunities since signing with Rvssian’s Rich Immigrants imprint at Interscope Records.

Since signing with Interscope, Shenseea has gone on to work with a slew of international acts. She has already collaborated with stars such as Tyga, Swae Lee, and Young Thug.

According to the deejay, in the past few months, a lot of international stars have been reaching out to her.

“Ever since we joined with Interscope and pushed out “Blessed,” a lot of international acts have been reaching out to me,” confessed Shenseea. “I’m talking about like the Drake, 21 Savage, Rihanna has been listening to my music, Cardi B, so it’s been going real good.”

Throughout it all though, Shenseea says she has managed to keep humble and balance her private life. She detailed her special relationship with her 4-year-old son Rajeiro, and how he helps to keep her sane.

The “Trending” star also seems to have big plans for life after music, revealing her interest in going into real estate. She revealed that she has already started looking at possible investments for the future.

When asked about her feeling towards the clashing culture, Shenseea revealed that she is all for it, once it remains musical and not personal.

Shenseea also expressed excitement about her upcoming album but remained tight-lipped on the possible international features.

Her latest single “IDKW” was released last Friday. It features international superstars Young Thug, Swae Lee, and producer Rvssian.
