Shenseea’s new collaboration with Rapper Tyga isn’t sitting well with a few loyal Dancehall fans.

The Romeich Entertainment singjay dropped the Hip Hop-inspired track produced by Rvssian on Wednesday, May 22.

Blessed music video was directed by Arrad in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The visuals start with a breathtaking view of everyday life in the second city with Rastafarians on the beach, fishermen coming in from sea with their catch and Shenseea waking up in bed with a banging chick.

While Shenseea has been getting rave reviews from the international press including Billboard Magazine and The Shade Room, Dancehall fans aren’t here for the track or the visuals.

“So the woman inna di bed for the front of the video!! Was it’s necessary tho? What was the point? Somebody tell mi cause mi fully dunce,” one Dancehall fan wrote. “Song ya nuh ready yet sound like a Shenseea son write it,” another added.

“Very disappointed. Not a Dancehall tune, doesn’t sound like a Jamaican artiste… Yankee tune… Artiste already changing style already too soon. Love the ward robe but not the tune, confusing, give strength still,” another fan wrote which got the attention of Shenseea.

“If you wa stay one place fi di rest a ur life thats on you sis!,” Shenseea said in a response. “Progress me deal wid… learn it!.”
