Shenseea has denied rumours of a backstage fight with Spice.
Shenseea has shut down rumours that she was involved in a backstage fight with fellow Dancehall artiste Spice.
According to the rumour mill, the two came to blows following a heated confrontation at the recently staged FIP Jamfest concert in Montego Bay.
The rumours began when a popular Instagram gossip page posted a screenshot of a DM they received from a fan who claims they witnessed Spice in a heated rage.
The fan claims she overheard Spice complaining that “She too bl*aat bright man,” to which a male in the tent responded “wul it dung nuh muma, me ago page romeich bout him artiste man.”
Speculation was further fueled after Spice took to Instagram to post a photo with fellow performers Shaggy, Sean Paul, and Stylo G. She captioned the pic “Thanks for coming and this is exactly how Dancehall should be the support is #Real 4S in dancehall #Spice #Seanpaul #Shaggy #StyloG.” Fans immediately took this a shot towards Shenseea, whose name also starts with an ‘S’ and was also a performer on the show.
Despite this, Shenseea took to Instagram to rubbish the claims in a light-hearted manner.
She addressed the issue after a fan asked: “I saw a post on pinkwall that you and spice got into an argument at Jamfest is it true?” to which she responded, “Y’all don’t realize people love telling lies on me yet huh? nt a thing nuh go so. People jus wicked.”
This is not the first time the two have been rumoured to be beefing, as it was alleged that there was some tension in 2018. This rumour was however quickly put to bed as both stars appeared together denying the allegations.
