Shenseea is proving once again that she has the lyrical prowess to match up to her stunning looks.

The Dancehall superstar had fans in awe over the weekend after she dropped a freestyle bomb on YouTube yesterday. The footage sees the deejay ripping up the “Don’t Rush” beat after being called out by labelmate, Bishop Escobar.

In the clip, Shenseea ferociously attacks the beat, showcasing her current dominance in the game. She impresses with her clever use of metaphors, and witty name drops throughout.

Some of the standout lines from the freestyle included nods to Buju Banton, and her manager, Romeich Major.

“Mi sharp like a razor, do well fi dah age yah. Money fi a run like a retainer, mi want rich like Romeich Major.”

The “Trending” star would go on to showcase her gritty side by dropping a few bars dedicated to the haters.

“From mi start par wid uptopboss mi stop fight a buss mi bus shot” and “tell bruk life say mi na come back, yuh mad!,” she confidently spits.

The viral clip has racked up thousands of interactions from fans, with many dubbing her the new Nicki Minaj.

The comparisons were made after the “Lighter” stars video was re-posted by TheShadeRoom on Instagram. The post would go on to receive over 1,000,000 views in just two hours, with many fans praising the effort.

“This is giving me nicki minaj with jerk seasoning and im loving it,” one fan beamed. Another agreed, “I have no idea what she said, but she said it so good,” and “Idk what she said but it’s 🔥.”

The post did however draw some negative reactions from American fans who accused the star for jocking Nicki’s style. “These are the sons Nikki be talking about,” one fan snarled.

However, Shenseea’s fans were definitely not having it with a few clapping back at the negative comments.

“Don’t try dat, Nikki flow is from Jamaica and Shenseea is str888 Jamaican, so Nikki is actually copying Jamaicans!!” one Jamaican fan declared.
