Dancehall princess Shenseea is shutting down rumours that she used auto-tuned to enhance her voice.
The Romeich Entertainment singer is topping local charts with Tarrus Riley and “Lighter” – However some Dancehall critics are saying ShenYeng overly used autotune in the banger.
Speaking with fans on Instagram, Shenseea showcased her vocal skills, silencing social media trolls. “Alright, let’s settle this, shall we?” She said before she started to hit the notes of the Lighter’s chorus: “Baby when the bright lights start to fade, fire up your lighter…”
The entertainer then proceeded to challenge her fans to share their renditions of the song with the #LighterChallenge hashtag. “Calling all a mi singers dem, hit this note, post it on Instagram and tag me so I can repost you guys.”
The #LighterChallenge has since been making rounds online with a slew of entries.
