Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce Announces Return Following Pregnancy

Jamaican track superstar Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce plans to return to training next month after taking an extended break to have her first child.

According to the 30-year-old sprinter, she is now targeting an October return to competitive training and will rejoin the Stephen Francis-led MVP track club, which she briefly left late last year.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist revealed that she will not be rushing her return to competitive action, but however has her eyes firmly fixed on the World Championships in two years time and also the Olympic Games in 2020.

Fraser-Pryce took a break from the sport last year after becoming pregnant with her son Zyon, who was born in August of this year.
