Shawn Storm is very optimistic ahead of upcoming appeal hearing in July.

The recording artiste was convicted of murder along with his mentor Vybz Kartel in 2014. Last week the “My Life” singer’s Instagram account uploaded a photo hinting to fans that his freedom could be much closer than we anticipate.

Storm uploaded a photo behind a locked gate with a cryptic captioned “out a road mi seh.”

The deejay will have to wait until summer before the appeal against his life sentence is heard.

The three week trial for the self-proclaimed ‘Worl Boss,’ real name Adidja Palmer and his three co-accused Shawn ‘Shawn Storm’ Campbell, Kahira Jones and Andre St John in the Appeals Court was previously scheduled for February 19, but was pushed back to July 9.

The men were convicted in the Home Circuit Court in March 2014 after a 65-day trial, the longest in Jamaican history. They are all now serving life sentences.
