Shawn Antoine Willing To Pay The Price

“Oh I don’t care about no consequences, willing to pay the price, I know you don’t understand this… but could you be mine oh girl will you be mine” are some of the words chronicling burgeoning singer Shawn Antoine’s passionate appeal as he pursues his love interest in the newly released ‘Mine’.

Produced by Frankie Music the single, a collaborative effort with emerging songstress Lia Caribe exudes a very balmy vibe with its groovy beat and pristine vocals that are sure to help you through those rough days. Now available on iTunes and other digital platforms the song will also form part of his upcoming EP slated for release in October. The self-titled EP will comprise six tracks showcasing the full ambit of Shawn Antoine’s musical talents.

No stranger to the arts, Shawn who recently returned from a European stint with Christopher Martin and D’Major is not only a superlative singer but also a musical polymath equipped with the skills to play the piano, acoustic and bass guitars, tenor saxophone, violin, drums and the flute.

With singles like ‘Full Time Gyallis’ featuring Konshens, ‘Treat You Better’ feating Qraig (from the duo Voicemail) and ‘I Love You’ enjoying favourable rotation across various spaces Shawn Antoine says he has high hopes for ‘Mine’,

“I have high hopes for Mine, everywhere I have been and introduced the record the response has been very encouraging. Hence my management will be placing a lot of effort into promoting and bringing increased awareness to the track. Presently, we are in the process of shooting a video for release very soon.” – Shawn Antoine intimated

Meanwhile, with the escalating attention being enjoyed by ‘Mine’ Shawn Antoine says plans are afoot for two additional videos later this month as part of the ongoing campaign to bolster his presence across the diaspora.
