Shatta Wale recently receive massive success after his new track with Beyonce and tells us that his dream Collaboration is Dancehall Veteran Vybz Kartel.

Shatta Wale is one of the biggest African musical stars. He recently got a boost in popularity and fame after he released a track with Beyonce which appeared on a ‘The Lion King: The Gift’. The track was called, ‘ALREADY’ which even featured Jamaican-American electronic group, Major Lazer. The song also had a visual presentation on Beyonce’s album titled Black is King.

Black Is King is a representation of Black Empowerment, with 1 hour and 25 minutes of playtime, it displays a coming of age story of a young black king while informing black masses of ways to help renounce the years of systematic oppression the black males and females have received due to slavery.

The song “ALREADY” was dropped on July 30, 2020 on Youtube and the music video has accumulated over 17 million views. The song alone has took spots on alot of major charts across the world. The song also charted at number 9 on Billboard’s R&B /Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales upon release. “ALREADY” is the only track from the album to actually land on that specific list.

The Ghanian deejay is making effort to get a collaboration from the King Of Dancehall, Vybz Kartel. He spoke on BBC’s Focus on Africa a couple months ago and mentioned that Vybz Kartel is going to be a feature on his upcoming album named, “Gift Of God” as well as Beyonce. The Worl’ Boss and Beyonce are the only two accounts Shatta Wale follows on Instagram. Shatta is not only a fan of Kartel but he is also a fan of the Jamaican and its culture. He also mentioned to Jamaica Observer that he regularly gets mistaken for a Jamaican, “Lot of times when I am going through airports people ask me if I am Jamaican, and I tell them no, I’m Nigerian,” he stated.
