International recording artiste Shaggy has been inducted into the Council of Voluntary Social Services (CVSS) Hall of Fame for the continued charity work he has done for the Bustamante Children’s Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica.

The 48-year-old “It Wasn’t Me” hit maker, Orville Richard Burrell through his biennial charity concert, ‘Shaggy and Friends’ has raised more than $1.6 million USD for the Bustamante Hospital for Children since launching in 2009.

The Shaggy Make a Difference Foundation presented the Children’s Hospital with a $70 million JMD from proceeds of the 2016 staging which featured Ashanti, R City, OMI, Popcaan, Bugle, Ding Dong, Beenie Man, Ghost, Terror Fabulous, Nadine Sutherland, and Kevin Downswell, while many big names including international Model/Actress Karrueche Tran were in attendance.
