Sean Paul talks Dancehall taking over music, Drake, Donald Trump with Ebro In The Morning

International recording artiste Sean Paul recently stopped by Hot 97’s Ebro In The Morning talk show to discuss other artistes stealing Dancehall, Canadian Rapper Drake, Marijuana legalization and president-elect Donald Trump.

On Dancehall taking over, the ‘Rockabye’ singer said, “Everybody is looking towards dancehall now-a-days and thats a cool vibe and as you said other people are doing it.” Dutty Paul added, “I am proud of the fact that we have been doing it so long that fans are demanding it so much that other people just see it… either they’re seeing [money] in it or they are just feeling the vibe.”

The 43-year-old, real name Sean Paul Ryan Francis Henriques was asked to share his thoughts about Drake’s new music which is influence by the genre, he said, “Yes I like what he [Drake] is doing musically.”
