Sean Paul signs new deal with Island Records

Sean Paul has landed a multi-album contract with with Island Records after achieving his second Billboard No. 1 single with “Cheap Thrills” with Sia.

The recording artiste was signed to Atlantic Records for about 10 years before deciding to go independent.  According to SP this new deal with Island Record was a good offer and it will give him creative control to experiment and express himself in his own way, which is an offer he has been searching for.

Sean Paul is currently working on his new album which is due later this year.
