International Dancehall superstar Sean Paul and Ed Sheeran could be collaborating on a track together in the near future.

The “Mad Love” deejay recently teased fans with the possibility of a collaboration with the English singer after he revealed that they have had discussions about working on a project together.

According to sources, Sean Paul has offered to help the “Shape Of You” crooner break into the French market, where he is doing considerably well.

The “Get Busy” deejay was quoted by several European newspapers as saying:  “Me and Ed spoke about doing something. We were in Paris and I do well there and he’s doing well everywhere but there. So I said, ‘maybe we can do a song as I’m doing well in Paris but not so much everywhere else’ — he’s an option I’d love to explore to work with.He seemed up for that, so we’ll see what happens.”

The deejay has been a solid run in the past year, scoring several hits on European charts including popular David Guetta produced track “Mad Love,” which features new sensation Becky G.
