Sean Paul is mourning the death of his father, Garth Henriques.
The international recording artiste, whose given name is Sean Paul Francis Henriques, shared the devastating news on Thursday.
Henriques’ death comes just weeks after Sean Paul made an emotional plea on social media to help save his life.
In a heartfelt video posted by in April, SP revealed that his father was battling for his life at the University Hospital of the West Indies and was in dire need of O Negative blood.
Later that month, the Grammy-nominated artiste teamed up with the National Blood Transfusion Service of Jamaica for a Blood Drive at the National Chest Hospital in Barbican Road, St Andrew.
