Savage Takes Inspiration From ‘Wild Gilbert’ For New Video

Dancehall artiste Savage is back on the scene with his latest track and its accompanying video ‘Whining Works’ weeks after being involved in a motor vehicle accident.

The “CuluCulu” deejay released the visuals for the new track last Saturday via his Vevo channel, with the entertainer taking on the role of a news reporter who covers the effects of the ‘whining storm’ caused by the song.

According to the deejay, the concept for the video was inspired by Lovindeer’s classic video ‘Wild Gilbert’ video and the 1987 hurricane of the same name.

Savage reveals that the concept for the video was actually his idea, and the director decided to go along with it.

The deejay says he has high hopes for the track and is quite confident it will follow the footsteps of previous hits such as “Culu Culu,” “Jiggle Likkle,” and “Yes Mama,” which amassed more than 11 million views collectively.
