Jamaican-American rapper, songwriter and television personality Safaree revealed earlier this week that he had a big announcement to make in Jamaica on Friday at 3pm EST.

After days of taunting fans online, it turns out the Stunt Gang rapper’s big announcement was a new music video with international recording artiste Jahmiel for their “No Regular Girl” collaboration.

The Love and Hip Hop star dedicated the song and Jay Parpworth-directed visuals to his fiancée, Erica Mena who also stars in the cut.

No Regular Girl music video is already making rounds online racking up almost 500,000 views in one day. The visuals is currently No. 9 trending on YouTube in Jamaica.

“It’s about to be the biggest song of the year. It’s a women’s anthem. Every woman across the globe is going to be using the hashtag #NoRegularGirl,” Safaree said while speaking about the project. “This is my best video to date. Everything is visual now, which is why I’m dropping the song and video at the same time. When people drop songs nowadays, their attention span is so short that it takes a lot for them to hear it, hold on to it, and keep it for a while. You have to do something to hold people’s attention – whether it be a music video, a scandal, or circus act to go with dropping a new song. You always have to have something visual to go along with it,” he continued.
