Popular Jamaican producer Tarik “Rvssian” Johnston has added yet another accolade to his growing list of accomplishments as he was recently credited as a songwriter for the theme song for a upcoming big budget Hollywood movie.
Rvssian, who ended 2016 on a high after he scored his second platinum selling certification for his production work on Kevin Gates’ Islah album has earned another impressive accolade.
The talented beat maker has been credited as a writer for the song “In My Foreign,” which is the theme track for xXx: Return of Xander Cage, starring Vin Diesel.
The track which was produced by Dj EDM hotshots, The Americanos, and features vocals from rappers Lil’ Yatchy, Ty Dolla $ign, French Montana, and reggaeton artiste Nicky Jam. According to Rvssian his writing credits came from work he did with Nicky, as was brought into the situation through her.
The music video for the track “In my Foreign” was released on Jan 6 and has currently racked up almost 2 million views on YouTube.
