Rihanna Uncle Charged For Selling Fake PUMA Fenty In Barbados

Rihanna’s uncle, Leroy Fitzgerald Brathwaite was recently charged for selling knock-offs of the pop star’s Puma Fenty line, Barbados’ Nation News reports.

The bust reportedly comes just weeks after the “Work” hit marker spotted some fake Fenty X Puma gears including t-shirts and slippers being sold on Swan Street, Bridgetown during her recent visit.

Rih Rih then reached out to Puma representatives who travelled to the island and launched an investigation which resulted in her uncle being arrested.

Brathwaite allegedly had about US $1000 in merchandise, he’s now facing charges under the Fair Trading Commission’s Consumer Protection Act. He appeared in court earlier this week and plead not guilty to the charges, Brathwaite’s lawyer is now combating the case saying they weren’t laid properly and it should ultimately be dismissed. He is out on bail.

Rihanna has been tight-lipped on the bizarre situation and it doesn’t seem like she’ll be speaking about it anytime soon.
