Rihanna Seek To Raise $3.1 Billion For Children’s Education In Africa

Rihanna is working with French President Emmanuel Macron on education in Africa.

The Bajan pop star down in Senegal on Thursday for the Global Partnership for Education’s conference.

Working with her Clara Lionel Foundation and activists Global Citizen, Rihanna is going to try and convince world leaders to cough up $3.1 billion for schooling. She already tweeted at Macron and British Prime Minister Theresa May, prodding them to pledge part of the cash.

Global Citizen’s CEO Hugh Evans told said, “Rihanna has, for the last two years, consistently demonstrated her commitment to getting children into school.”
