Rapper Rick Ross has been hospitalized for a serious medical condition.
According to sources close to the MMG boss say the medical issue is heart-related.
The incident occurred early Thursday morning when Ross fell ill in his Miami area home. The call came in around 3:30 am when officials were told there was a man in distress, breathing heavy and unresponsive.

According to TMZ, the caller said the man had a history of seizures and was “slobbing out of the mouth,” at the time of the call. However, upon arrival, officials say the man became combative once he regained consciousness.

While one source says Ross missed an appearance due to his hospitalization, a family member has strongly denied the claims.

If Ross is in fact hospitalized though, this would not be his first hospitalization. Back in 2011, the Boss was sent to the hospital after 2 seizures. However, the health scare sparked a change of lifestyle, which led to Ross’ huge weight loss.
