Rich Homie Quan forgets Biggie lyrics during tribute

Rich Homie Quan forgot the lyrics to The Notorious B.I.G’s “Get Money” while performing at the during VH1 Hip Hop Honors.

The Atlanta rapper became the spectacle of ridicule on social media Monday night after forgetting the words to Biggie’s classic “Get Money,” during a performance with Lil Kim at VH1 Hip Hop Honors.

Quan was introduced on stage by honoree Lil Kim, but was only able to rap a few bars before resorting to “yeah” and “hands up” after apparently forgetting the classic lines.

Many social media users immediately took to the rapper’s Instagram following the performance and littered his page with negative comments. One user suggesting that the “Flex: rapper ‘quit his day job.’

The honorees for the VH1 Hip Hop Honors, included Queen Latifah, Lil Kim, Missy Elliot, and Salt-N-Pepa.
