A male prisoner who escaped from the Denham Town is back in police custody after he was found in Tivoli Gardens, Kingston, on Tuesday.

According to reporters, 27-year-old Kevin Thomas, also known as ‘Tattan’ or ‘Tafari’ of McKenzie Drive in Tivoli Gardens, escaped Lock-up in September 2016.

He had been charged with breaches of the Firearm Act. Thomas was reportedly found under the bridge about 1:00 pm with his hands and feet bound. The police were alerted and he was taken to hospital for treatment and is now under police guard.
