Popcaan Set To Release New “Yiy Change Fixtape”

Dancehall entertainer Popcaan is gearing up to release his brand new “Yiy Change Fixtape”.

The strong ties developed between Popcaan and Chromatic, lead them to the creation of the collaboration project “Yiy Change Fixtape”, the Dancehall duo linked up in 2012 for their smash hit “Yiy Change Mixtape”.

Popcaan’s “Yiy Change Mixtape” helped the Dancehall artiste to foster his close friendship with Canadian rapper Drake and his OVO camp.

During a January interview with Ebro, Popcaan mentioned that the Yiy Change Mixtape was Drake’s OVO crew favorite mixtape. “Man dem run that red,” he said.

Even though there is an 8-year gap between the two Mixtapes, there are minimal changes to titling where as, Chromatic Sound has been renamed to Chromatic Live and they changed the word Mixtape to Fixtape.

Popcaan’s upcoming Yiy Change Fixtape also has some sentimental value, since it was crafted in loving memory of Dwain “Bookah” Mitchell, one of the Unruly members who died during a motorcycle accident on July 5, 2020.
