Popcaan was left confused on Tuesday after Shenseea crowned herself the new princess of Dancehall.
Earlier this week Shenseea declared herself the Princess of Dancehall after uploading a photo of herself and fellow female entertainer Spice, who is largely regarded as the Queen of the genre.
“In the middle of my performance she walked in and some of her #Smurfs saw her and started to create excitement! She literally STOPPED until I finished my song to avoid any disturbances..and for that my Team and I have a different level of respect for you @spiceofficial ????, she said

However, it seems Shenseea’s statements may have created some degree of controversy among Dancehall fans and entertainers alike as Popcaan quickly reacted to the deejay’s bold claims.
The “Pon Mi” star’s statements seems to have left the Unruly deejay puzzled as he questioned “How is this possible ??,” which was quickly spotted by fans who were quick to comment.
“Shensea ain’t no prinny…. Spice barely a d queen so how she fi b princess… Shensea deven have 3 hits inna r career.” one equally puzzled fan wrote in response to Shenseea’s statements.
“But she no have no real talent so how she become princess? It seems dancehall have title a GI weh fi free,” another fan wrote.
Shenseea is currently riding high on the success of her most recent single “Pon Mi,” which has gained over 8 Million views on YouTube in just 2 months since its release.
