Dancehall superstar Popcaan has reacted following the arrest of his fellow Unruly camp member Quada.
On Tuesday, news emerged that the Dancehall superstar had been detained by cops in relation to a mob killing.
Quada, whose name is Shaquelle Clarke, was detained after surrendering himself to investigators for questioning in relation to a murder.
Quada is accused of helping to beat and burned a man to death in Sterling Castle last April. Police reports claim that several eyewitness placed thee deejay at the scene of the crime.
The victim, Miguel Williams, 29, was attacked, beaten and set on fire by angry residents who accused him of being involved in the slaying of Shantae Skyers, a student of Red Hills Primary School.
Quada is signed to Popcaan’s Unruly Entertainment label and has several hits under his belt including Hail, Reflex, and Celebration.
Popcaan has since reacted to the news by posting a photo of his protege with a few words of support.
“Wul them enuh wild crocs GOD over every demon and devils yo bless fam just know that🙏🏿🙏🏿 #UNRULY,” he captioned the post.
Many fans also took to social media to offer their support for the 22-year-old deejay.
“Dem cya jus Mek d youths live. Weh dem a frame him fa now,” one fan declared while another commented ” Stay strong wild wild🙌👏🔥”
