Popcaan is looking to inspire his fans with his latest singles “Win” and “Medal.”

Over the weekend the Unruly Boss dropped two brand new tracks that are already earning rave reviews from fans. The tracks, “Win” and “Medal,” deliver a motivational messages challenging fans to overcome adversities.

The first single, Win, was released on Saturday with an accompanying music video. In the track, Popcaan reminds his fans that they too achieve their goals if they are willing to put in the work.

“Although dah life yah nuh easy, know seh we haffi win yeah,” he croons in the track.

“People Downtown weh a sell pon di streets, who a work pon truck in a garbage bin, youth dem in a di shop weh a do di buzz trim … Life no easy fi nobaddy, could a Star, could a Gleaner (paperboys)… Know seh we haffi win.”

The music video sees Popcaan assuming the role of a basketball coach leading his team against rivals “The Obstacle.” Also appearing is TVJ host, Neville Bell as his counterpart as they both battle for the championship.

Popcaan’s second release, Medal, is a sequel to his first story-line, depicting him as one of life’s great achievers. In the track, the deejay croons about the importance of working hard to achieve your goals.

“Mi work hard fi wah mi want dawg, full a ambition, nuh fraid fi buss a sweat,” he spits while making comparisons to other greats.

Some of the legendary greats he refers to include, Kobe Bryant, Usain Bolt, Michael Phelps, and Lebron James.
