Popcaan has dropped a brand new single ahead of his upcoming album.
The Unruly Boss looks set to add another anthem to his catalog of hits with his latest effort “Block Traffic.”
The production is handled by the deejay’s Unruly Ent. label in association with Sasaine Music Records. The two previously collaborated on the single “Father God Ah Lead,” which features on his Vanquish mixtape.
Throughout the track, the deejay touches familiar topics, spitting lines about women, wealth, and defending himself. Despite its familiar flow, the track still proves to be an enjoyable one.
“African gyal wa gi We daughter, true me fulla Blueprint like Mr. Carter,” Popcaan deejays in the track.
In just two days the track has racked up over 229,000 views and 14,000 likes on Youtube. It is one of his first singles in a few weeks, leading up to his upcoming album.
The yet to be named album will be Popcaan’s first since signing for Drake’s OVO label back in 2019. It follows his mixtape compilation “Vanquish,” which was released in January.
