Canadian Rapper Tory Lanez says he’s number 1 in Jamaica but OVO affiliate Popcaan isn’t having it.
Lanez, real name Daystar Peterson, who celebrated his 24th birthday on Wednesday took to social media to share the news with his fans.
“NUMBER 1 IN JAMAICA ! ……. J.U.I.C.E = just understand I control everything .
#IToldYou,” He wrote. Although it’s unclear for which single, sources say perhaps it’s for ‘LUV’ which samples veteran Jamaican dancehall vocal duo Tanto Metro and Devonte’s 1997 smash hit single ‘Everyone Falls In Love.’

However it seems Lanez’s declaration doesn’t sit well with Dancehall artiste Popcaan as he’s is currently feuding with Rapper Drake who is also a close friend with the ‘Ova Dweet’ deejay.
According to Popular US Blogger DJ Akademiks, the ‘Unruly Boss’ commented under the post seemingly saying Lanez is talking BS about being Number 1 in his island.
Popcaan allegedly commented under his post with a few smiley and shit emojis.
