Popcaan And Drake Teases New Music During IG Live Session

Popcaan and Drake have teased fans that new music is on the way.

On Thursday Popcaan sent the internet into a frenzy after he went live on Instagram with rapper Drake. The two become the latest celebrities to join the growing trend of live streaming.

The Unruly Boss had fans entertained throughout the night as he went live from his studio. However, the highlight of the live session was when he invited this close friend Drake to join the party.

During the IG Live session, Popcaan greeted Drizzy with a few of his signature slangs, including his infamous “Troubleee!” Both artists seemed genuinely excited to link up as they were seen in their respective studios.

Popcaan was seen chilling in the studio with Protoje, his Unruly crew and a woman he called “Carlene.”

“Who dis?” Popcaan asked Drake as pointed the camera towards Carlene. “Oh my goodness!” Drake responded. Popcaan then joked that “Carlene nah gi we none a her big woman fren dem.” Drake then quickly responded to the comment by joking, “No mi wah Carlene herself.”

However, the highlight of the night came when Drake asked Popcaan how many songs he was featured on for his upcoming album. To the delight of fans, Popcaan then declared that they should just do a whole album together.

Fans will be looking forward to the album as it could feature the first official collaboration between the two. The two previously linked up on leaked versions of “Controlla” and “My Chargie” that were never officially released.

Popcaan signed to Drake’s OVO label back in 2019 and has since released his Vanquish mixtape on the imprint.
