Police Responds To Reports Of Widespread Shootings In Montego Bay

Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay is refuting reports of widespread shootings in Montego Bay.

The head of the Constabulary Communication Unit (CCU), has described the reports which started circulating on social media after the shooting death of reputed gang leader Omar “King Evil” Lewis as “fake news”.

Montego Bay Rocked By Double Murder

Following the killing of Lewis, the Canterbury strongman who was gunned down as he sat in his car in Catherine Hall, voice notes went viral of random shootings in the city, which created panic among the citizenry.

However according to Superintendent Lindsay, this is a ploy by criminals to create mayhem among law abiding citizens.
