A man was shot and killed during a confrontation with the police just moments after he allegedly shot and killed another man in Green Island, Hanover on Monday morning.
According to police reports, panic engulfed the town of Green Island, Hanover at approximately 11:30 am after a man was reportedly chased, and shot dead by a lone gunman along the roadway. The victim reportedly fell over a bridge and into the sea.
Reports indicate that cops were in the surrounding area and saw the armed man with the weapon, he was challenged by the lawmen and reportedly shot dead.
The Independent Commission of Investigation (INDECOM) has since opened an investigation into the incident.
