Police Deny Criticism Of Rygin King’s “Fully Dunce” Slang

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has denied making any statements which raised concerns over the “Fully Dunce” slang which popularized by Dancehall entertainer Rygin King.

According to the Corporate Communications Unit of the JCF, no statements were issued at any time indicating that they had an issue with the entertainer or the slang which is popularized by the deejay.

They further re-enforced that the police high command has not given any official word on the use of the slang despite reports on social media.

The Corporate Communications Unit also revealed that they would be forced to distance themselves from the issue if the matter continues to gain attention.

Last week reports emerged claiming that the police had expressed concern over the use of the slang by youths in inner-city communities who use it to praise individuals who display dark and deviant behaviors.

It was further alleged that cops were not amused by the promotion of the slang by certain entertainers, as they feel the slang as it encourages criminality among young adults.

Rygin King’s camp has since declared that they were aware of the reports being circulated on social media, but were not in a position to give any official statements at this time.
