Prime Minister Andrew Holness says he is considering to make tomorrow, Monday November 27, a public holiday to celebrate Davina Bennett’s recent international success.
Bennett who represented Jamaica at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant was declared the second runner-up on Sunday night. After she placed in the top ten, Holness was asked by one social media user if he could award the country with a public holiday.
Holness immediately responded saying he would consider if his tweet gets 100,000 retweets, “100,000 retweets for Davina and I might consider it,” he wrote. Check out his post below and retweet.
