Peter Tosh’s Grammy & guitar sold, family fights over estate

The iconic martin acoustic guitar belonging to legendary Reggae Singer Peter Tosh has been pawned.

According to TMZ, a member of Tosh’s family sold the musical instrument along with his 1987 Grammy for Best Reggae Album to the Dylan McDermitt of LBC Pawn in Somerville, MA.

The pawn shop owner says that he got the Grammy for $4,000USD and the guitar for $2,000USD. However he’s is now selling back the Grammy for a whopping $15,000 and the guitar will set you back around $20,000, all prices are negotiable.

Peter Tosh was one of the core members of the band The Wailers, along with Bob Marley and Bunny Wailer,he was shot and killed on September 11, 1987.

Tosh did not leave a will which has since lead to his family members to fight over his estate.
