On Tuesday a personal trainer was exonerated by the St Cathrine Parish Court following accusations that he broke into the home of a policewoman and attempted to rape her.
The 25-year-old man, Chaddane Harris, was freed of all charges after the presiding judge agreed with a no-case submission by his attorney, Vincent Wellesley, based upon a lack of credible identification evidence.

Earlier this year Harris was arrested and charged with assault with intent to rape and housebreaking, after allegedly breaking into the policewoman’s home in Portmore, St Catherine.
According to reports, a man fitting the description of Harris broke into the policewoman’s home at approximately 4:00 am on April 25 and demanded sex from the police officer, however, she refused and escaped to safety.
