Nicki Minaj’s older brother, Jelani Maraj, is now facing divorce after his wife allegedly served him divorce papers amid his ongoing rape case.
Minaj was reportedly hit divorce papers on August 18, just days shy of the couples one year wedding anniversary.
According to the Daily Mail the grounds for divorce has been cited as “Uncontested Matrimonial,” indicating that the separation has been mutually agreed by both sides.

The news comes at a difficult time for Maraj, who is currently battling allegations that he raped a 12-year-old child. If convicted he could face the possibility of life in prison.
The Hip Hop superstar’s sibling is currently out on a $100,000 bail bond, which was posted by his mother. He is set to return to court this month.
