Nicki Minaj is seemingly siding with her legion of fans who are accusing fellow female rapper Cardi B of biting her style and sound.
Cardi B received some hate this week following the release of a video for “La Modelo,” a collaboration with Ozuna, which prompted Nicki’s fans to brand it as yet another shameless effort to bite the rapper’s style. Nicki’s fans, or “Barbz” as she likes to call them, previously attacked the “Bodak Yellow” rapper following the video release of “No Limit” which did bear a lot of striking similarities to Nicki’s overall style.
The Young Money rapper seemingly agreed with the assessment of her fans after they blasted her Cardi on twitter to which Nicki later conveniently tweeted “I’m glad y’all peeped.”
Some fans were however not amused by Nicki’s actions calling it hypocritical, as they claim she initially stole Lil Kim’s style and is should be in no position to throw shade.
