Chris Brown Samples Gyptian In His New Single

Chris Brown continues to show his love for Caribbean music after he recently sampled Reggae superstar Gyptian in his latest track.

The Grammy winning R&B superstar recently sampled the sounds of Gyptian’s gold selling 2010 single “Hold Yuh,” and Kevin Lyttle’s “Turn Me On” for his uptempo track “Questions” which was released earlier this month.

Chris Brown Recounts Assaulting Rihanna

The move is not the first time that Chris Brown has sought to pay homage to Dancehall music, as he recently collaborated with Jamaican superstar Konshens on the remix of his hit single “Bruk Off Mi Back.”

According to Gyptian, the renewed exposure of his hit single highlights that Jamaican music is still very much a influential genre overseas despite limted support from major labels in recent years.

The Reggae crooner says he gave the song his stamp of approval, as it went through all the proper channels, and he was throughly notified before its release.
