They say music is a journey and not a destination and indeed the adage is true as Reggae Star Nesbeth prepares for another major assignment this weekend.

The journey continues for the ‘My Dream’ hitmaker who is scheduled to depart the island later this week for North America where he’s billed as double headliner for Reggae Springfest 2017 in Columbus and Cleveland, Ohio. The 2017 instalment of the annual concert series is slated to unfold on Friday, April 28th and Saturday, April 29th respectively.

Nesbeth says he is looking forward to the concerts as this will be his first time performing in that particular state.

“I am definitely looking forward to the shows this weekend, anticipation from the fans are high and I intend to delivering another solid performance to patrons in those spaces while keeping the Reggae and Jamaican flag flying high”.

With his european exploits behind him Nesbeth is now focused on promoting ‘New Gangster’, his latest musical offering which continues to enjoy premium rotation across the diaspora. The single aims to redefine the negative connotations generally associated with the word ‘Gangster’.

According to the Rastafarian crooner a ‘New Gangster’ is one that uplifts and positively influence those around him through his deeds.
“take care of your youth a the new gangster…
buy mama house a the new gangster …
bad and still hungry a luu gangster
rich and up a the new gangster …”

are just some of the words from this thought provoking composition the singer has also released a lyric video online for the aforementioned.

Meanwhile, an official video for the Seanizzle produced ‘Road To Glory’ was also premiered recently via VEVO, fans can watch it at Youtube.com/NesbethVEVO and plans are afoot to shoot the visuals for ‘ New Gangster’.
