Mr Vegas missed his flight on Friday after a passenger reportedly said she felt uncomfortable and accused him of using his phone to record her on the plane.
According to the veteran deejay, he was taken off the plane and ultimately missed his flight to Rochester, New York.
“This is the worst thing that I ever encountered! Racism is real and u better believe it!,” Vegas wrote on social media, adding that he was “staring racism straight in the face!”
Following the incident Mr. Vegas urged fans to continue to be careful out in the world, and also thanked the flight attendants for handling the matter in a professional manner.
