Mr. Vegas’ new career path has certainly been working out for him, the former dancehall artiste delivered a spectacular gospel performance at the Houston Jerk Festival.
Last month the veteran dancehall artiste took to social media to announce that he was turning to Christianity and would be transitioning from dancehall to gospel music

Attendees at the festival were thrilled to be entertained by the international deejay who touched their hearts and souls when he performed traditional gospel songs like “Hear My Cry”, “What A Mighty God We Serve”, and “When The Saints Go Marching In”, he also performed other popular songs from other artistes which included “Sweet Jamaica”, “Thinking Out Loud” and “Love Yourself”.
Even though Vegas is now a gospel artiste he still performed some of his conscious dancehall hits including “Tek Weh Yuh Self” and “Heads High.” The deejay said he is happy with the love and support he has been receiving from his fans while on his new journey and he is pleased with his decision of making Jesus his choice.
