Dancehall artiste MonCherie who was missing in Alaska, United States, is now back with her family.

On November 19, 2019, the Anchorage police released images of the singer along with a detailed bulletin in their attempts to locate the 29-year-old singer, real name Cherie Stoute.

“Efforts to locate her have been unsuccessful. There is concern for her well-being due to mental health issues and unfamiliarity with the Anchorage area. Stoute was last seen Sunday 11/17/19 at around 6pm in the downtown area,” the Police report. “MonCherie is 5’1” tall and 120 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone who sees her or has information regarding her whereabouts is asked to contact the Anchorage Police Dispatch at 3-1-1 (option 1).”

The latest update posted on her official Instagram, her team confirmed her safer return, “Cherie was found last night. She was found safe and is now getting medical attention at the moment.”

Over the last few days, several Dancehall/Reggae fans had been campaigning for the safe recent of the singer. Their efforts were also acknowledged, “Thank you all for your prayers, and for sharing her story… for God is good!.”

MonCherie was born in St Lucia of Jamaican heritage. She spoke of her musical ambitions. She is best known for her Bay Bay and Gates of Heaven collaborations with Vybz Kartel.
