Migos Samples Bob Marley & The Wailers In New Single

Bob Marley & The Wailers’ ‘Get Up, Stand Up’ single has been sampled by Migos.

The Atlanta rap trio sampled the 1973 classic on their new single ‘Crown The Kings’ which is featured on their latest album ‘Culture 2’.

Co-produced by Marshall and DJ Durel, ‘Crown The Kings’ debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, R&B Hip Hop Album, Rap Album and Canadian album charts last week.

Bob Marley Birthday Celebration In Kingston Shut Down By Cops

‘Get Up, Stand Up’ was co-written by Bob Marley and Peter Tosh and appears on The Wailers’ Burnin’ album, released in 1973 by Island Records. The track is recognised as one of pop music’s great protest anthems.
